Linda Mann Kelly

Tell us about yourself:

When I was a little girl, I would love to come to work with my daddy, Dewey Mann, who acquired Andrews Floor Covering in 1950, after his military duty in WWII. We would first walk across the street to Schrader's Restaurant (now Dem 2 Brothers) and get a donut with chocolate milk. Then when we came back to the store, daddy, of course, would start working, and I played "store" with the cash register, rearranging floor samples, and doing "pretend" office work. My sister and brother, Ellen and Wilson, were often here with Daddy as well. Fast forward, several decades, and the 3 of us are business partners and represent the 2nd generation of Andrews Floor Covering. So, to make a long story short, and many other work experiences prior to me changing my career path in 1993, I guess it was always in my "blood and genes" to be a small business owner.

Linda is a mother to three daughters; Lindsay, Katie and Stephanie. She has been married to her husband, Barry, for over 30 years.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Lifeguard.
